The Blue Angel Lounge in 2008, and shortly thereafter caught the attention of 8MM Musik in Berlin. The band took their name from the club in New York City that in the 1960s offered Nico (Velvet Underground) her first live performances in America.

Siren and Frank of Dreamchild have always related strongly to those words of E.A.Poe’s…and yet, our Poe-themed collaboration with the brilliant Cheryl Fair, the mini film of our musical setting of “Alone”, has now been both appreciated and recognized in a gratifying manner! The International Edgar Allan Poe Festival and Awards has just announced that “Alone” is an official nominee in the “Adaptations of E.A. Poe’s Life or Works” Category of the Saturday ‘Visiter’ Awards (named for the oddly spelled Baltimore periodical which awarded a young Poe a prize for “MS Found in a Bottle”, launching his career). Winners will be announced in early October.
