Not a John Prine Tribute Show
That was kinda snarky, wasn't it? I really dug Prine's music and am sorry he's left us. For some reason both times I saw Steve Goodman in the '70s at the U. of Michigan, Prine came out for the encores. Anyway, so far Second Fiddle, If 6 Was 9, and Troubadour seem to have him covered. Here's a song quote though, perhaps applicable if you're stuck at home for weeks but not symptomatic of the virus: "That's the way that the world goes 'round. You're up one day and the next you're down. It's half an inch of water and you think you're gonna drown. That's the way that the world goes 'round."
